The family room has a new sleeper sofa, large flat screen TV and DVD player and is separated from the formal living room by a half wall, which further enhances the open feel. Your view of this unique rock strewn desert mountain landscape is through a wall-of-glass slider next to your wood burning fireplace beyond comfortable sofas for lounging. Plush carpeting, hand-sculpted iron furnishings and tasteful art décor create a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. The dining room and kitchen form another large open space with seating for eight.

Heated and cooled, your colorful desert hideaway has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and one bathroom. There is also the sofa bed in the family room and other sleeping arrangements possible (sleep upon magnetic pads and find relief for aches and pains!). All linens are provided. You also have access to a washing machine and dryer.

Sit outside on the spacious deck with luxury furnishings or enjoy the view from out front among the many huge terracotta pots. You can watch the endless array of desert creatures scampering through the boulders and desert flora – especially the hundreds of quail which make their morning migration to the palm trees, and for which this desert escape was named. Cook on the BBQ or set a fire in the hand-sculpted iron fire ring. Explore the unique collection of antique farm implements, and, of course, the evening skies are breathtaking!

Quail Haven welcomes your well-behaved four-legged family members as well. Prior permission is required along with a pet deposit.

This is a spectacular, private locale for a group of singles or a family get together (kids are fine, too!).
